Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). This is done to make sure our infection procedures are current, adhere to each agencies' recommendation, and to keep our patients and staff safe. We care about building personal relationship with our patients, and our advice of care will always be based on the patients' best interests. We provide an atmosphere for our patients to be as comfortable as possible, and are dedicated to a comprehensive approach to dentistry with honesty and integrity.

Our office volunteered sewing masks donating to local hospice and meals-on-wheels organizations while office is closed during COVID-19 pandemic. We thank our assistant Xiaoen who took on the bulk of the work of making them.

Ivette transitioned to the dental field after years of customer service in tax preparation. She believes in fostering a positive experience in every situation by being honest and flexible. Ivette is a great team member of the office.
Dr. Suwen Cassie Shuen
After graduated from the Ohio State University College of Dentistry with award for Excellence in Orthodontics Research , Dr. Shuen joined UCSF and completed two years of residency in advanced dentistry where she earned Recognition of Outstanding Achievement in Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
She has worked in both the public and private sectors, and continuous to work with patients with immense joy. Dr. Shuen likes to stay current in dentistry by taking advanced courses that are beyond the requirement, especially in the area of dental implant placement, 3D printed surgical guides, and minimally invasive dental implant technique.

Dr. Shuen is a member of ADA, CDA, Southern Alameda County Dental Society, American Dental Association's Advisory Circle, Academy of General Dentistry, and Global Dental Implant Academy.

Dr. Shuen by far is the most meticulous dentist I have ever dealt with. I was recommended by a friend since I had a very bad tooth ache, to a point that I was ready to knock out the tooth myself. Dr. Shuen was extremely knowledgeable, she explains the options I had and the risk and reward for each, which gave me reassure, even though I just took her recommendation. It was the fact that I had a say in what I wanted, with clear understanding of the benefit.
The office is a little far for myself, but I go still because the quality of care and cleanliness is top notch. Also she is great to talk to if you are not numb up. :)

After moving to Fremont I searched for a new dentist and found her through our insurance's website and decided to give her a try.
